At Illuminated Life Therapy, I operate widely on a private pay basis, meaning if clients do not have Aetna insurance, they will pay for services directly. All payments will be made at the time of service through a secure online client payment portal. PPO insurance plans can offer out-of-network benefits that may provide reimbursement for your sessions. I'm happy to provide you with a Superbill upon request, which includes all of the necessary information for submission to your insurance company.

  • I encourage you to check with your insurance provider to understand your current coverage and policies

  • Some potential questions to ask your health insurance plan include:

Are mental health services included in my coverage?

Does my plan cover visits to out-of-network providers?

What is the coverage amount for each therapy session?

How does my deductible apply to out-of-network services on the superbill?

Does my health insurance plan cover a certain number of therapy sessions?

What is the typical timeframe for processing and reimbursing claims based on submitted superbills?
